Ive just installed my new swann firewire card and im trying to capture footage from my dv camera to premiere6. My camera is the sony dcr-pc9e.

The video im trying to capture plays fine in the movie capture window and doesnt say any frames are being dropped while i record but when i come to watch what ive jsut captured it runs at about 1 frame per second. Im not really sure which options I should change to help fix this.

Does anyone know where i should start?

    Cheers, Andy

Cheers. i found just what i was looking for. It was actually quite simple in the end. All I had to do was stop the computer showing all the footage in the camera lcd screen and only show it on the monitor. It was nothing to do with the actual capture.

    Thanks again,
    Andy
